Income gained from commander doesn't add to bank space, but i think that gained from planet does...My guess is you have a large income boost from your CO.

Just checked and yeah, your Commander is like 50x your size, so that would explain it

@Borek,
Income from planets does not contribute to your bank size. I found out from when I got my first planet, which was an income one, and increased it so my income over tripled, yet my bank size didn't change.
Just so you know.
@Furball2,
That income and bank size sounds almost exactly like what mine used to be.

Also your bank size will probably never be 1.5 * your natural income anyway because of the 10% increase from the market options or previously when PPT increased it. For example, on the upgrade page I can see:
USS ($50) wrote:Instant 100% (of normal initial capacity) increase to your offsite Naquadah storage (ie - the 'bank' - for you, as of last turn, this would be an increase of 146,709,322,977). REMEMBER - the bank size increases/decreases with your income.
Which is my bank size based on my natural income, or based only on my miners and lifers. While in reality it's just a bit above 1 trillion due to all the % bonuses that have been added to it.
