What is the factor behind officer rank titles? I used to be able to give the supreme commander title to my officers. now, all i can give is fleet commander.

scroll down further and you will see there is an older topic that explains this, but nevertheless, each basic race gets a title when they have 1 or more officers and can assign a different title to 1 of their officers. Additionally, each advanced race has a different unique title they can assign to 1 of their officers. It goes as follows:

Basic Races:
Tauri - General (CO), Colonel (Officer)
Asgard - Supreme Commander (CO), Fleet Commander (Officer)
Goa'uld - God (CO), First Prime (Officer)
Replicator - First (CO), Second (Officer)

Advanced Races:
Tollan - Right Hand (Officer)
Ancient - Prodigy (Officer)
System Lord - Minion Lord (Officer)
NanoTiMaster - Nano Prime (Officer)

As far as I am aware there are no commander titles for advanced races. Also, older accounts (3 years+ i think) can give themselves a custom titles. Hope this helps
