shorter turns?

yes i know, this has probably been posted x number of times but would be nice though... Would add a bit more stress to it. As I figure, at the beginning, this game is really interesting with lots of stuff, techhnology, to spend on ; but as u reach the high ranks, things tend to get a bit repetitive.

20 minutes instead of 30 sounds alright ?

Turns are 20 minutes long in quantum.

This won't work.... There are only three ways of doing that:
Way #1, the amount you pay for the extra turn exceeds that of what you make in the extra turn....It would kill new players, and rank 100s would be more than willing as it would give them a huge amount of extra UU....
If the amount eceeds that of the value of the UU gained and Naq then no one would want it.


Way#2, The amount you pay for the extra turn is lower than what you would make in the extra turn.... Who wouldn't? It becomes cheesy and is unexplainable.....In the first you can explain away by saying you make you soldiers work harder on recruiting at the cost of Naq or something.... Here you are getting something from nothing.

Way#3 The amount you pay for the extra is equal to what you would make in the extra turn in both Naq and UU.... Um, no.... just no.... Even if it were possible to balance out the cost of the extra UU you might as well stay with two turns or bump to three with no cost.

I like the turns the way they are time-wise.

the smaller the turn time, the more inflation will rise, money will be more common, be able to buy more weapons etc, it wont benifit anyone,, as everyone would increase relativly, which defeats the point.

Agreed. Change it and we will have to change it again.

no it would benefit the players with much time because they could keep that additional resources.

shortening the turns for better ranked players would just give yet another advantage over weaker players, i mean there already stringer why make them more so
