1st Annual New Warmonger Award...



The winner, would get whatever naq is donated from above....maybe 1 tril even or so.


Determined by having a group of 6-7 new players, all nominated via forum.....attack someone with a 200mil army or so.

That person, judges from his logs who launched the most efficient attack, and used the most creativity and outside the box thinking.

Just an idea, to lesson the boredom.

Yes the judge would have to set a defense within reach But with the war going on, it shouldn't be hard.

Hard to think of someone. How about Mordack and Robe share it? If both are willing?

questions:

would the person be online and repairing their weapons plus maybe have nox/critical on?

what would the persons covert action look like?

do the participants get the uu/naq it cost to mass the person refunded in addition to the award naq?

The way i see it, they are given targets....They decide when/how they attack.


IE, they can wait until their target sleeps and so forth. To allow maximum creativity.


The target has to set his stats to within a ratio to allow the new player to hit effectively.


Repair costs can be included i guess So perhaps chock on some uu as well.


Maybe the winner is STI's officer for a week or so

erm...im sorry...perhaps I have missed something here in my increasing vacant state of being, but Is there not already the annual SGW awards, one of which is warmonger of the year.

Why have NEW warmonger of the year...you could just make similar expansive categories related to every other part of the awards?

After all most of the time the warmonger of the year does actually go to someone new to the title of the award, ergo, they are the new warmonger of the year.....

so yeah....completely pointless idea, or one that needs expanding?

A competition to find newbies and award them resources by trial by combat against an older player.

lol..well..when I saw the name I just presumed..ya know warmonger...its a bit of a tongue in cheek title.

maybe the rightful title would be newbie of the year...most impressive underhanded mass of the year..I dunno...one mass attempt backed by a group of friends...quite possibly dosent really make them a warmonger, unlike the likes of JMX who everyone knew was one.

as we already have a most improved player of the year, that wont do...so yeah.

Not to mention, there would need to boundries for size of defense, they attack, time limit (i think u mentioned that one), at's and naq used.

lets not forget to...WHO is a newbie? What is a Newbie? How does one create a definitive definition that shows possible entries if they have what is needed/lacks enough?

I'm eying it less as an award, as for something the older players can do for the younger ones...maybe once a month or so.

I was gonna suggest something like this a while back....my idea was more of a tournament - a certain amount of people enter, you have to maintain a certain defence, and there is a time limit (say a week), no ppt, etc - you gain points for supers killed, lose them for attack supers lost, that sort of thing....find the most effecient masser, best defender, etc....

Anyway, its a decent enough idea if you can get enough poeple into it - otherwise its just a waste of resoures for a few people....

This take me back Bill... I'm in to help out too if needed some maximums and minimums in terms of army size etc need to be agreed I think but It's a good idea to give smaller accounts a chance to advance and play creatively.

So the target will know they are a target? Or will Gunz or whoever just be getting randomly massed by a bunch of 10 mill army players?

And How new is new? My army size is only about 6 million ish.... new enough?
