I couldn't find a similar subject so direct me if I'm wrong....

I was wondering if anyone could provide a sort of quick read guide for efficient planet building...

Information on the best way to get you planet's abilities and size up, while saving the most naquada.

I know it can be expensive to the point it may not be worth it.

u get like 1000 def, and u build the income or UP or strike or Def like mad.. if ur not in war then no1 will take ur planets.. but be rdy to fight back if some1 takes ur pllanet.... as the value of planet increases, increase the def as needed.

tats all but its just common sence

That's not true.

Also I would suggest waiting until the updates have come out on the 20/21 as it will change certain aspects of planet building.

EDIT: Oh and moved.

umm... if i see A planet i like i'll take it even if it has 40k def on it... basicly put def on it when its small, then build the stats and size up gradualy...

What sort of regard should be taken concerning the price of upgrades and defenses to the size of the planet? In order to get the best results from the naquada invested.

What (other than attribute) makes it a "good planet"?

And what kind of strategy and considerations should you make when deciding if a planets is good for the taking?

up and income are good because they do the work for you

defence are pretty much useless except for war, because no matter how much defence you have, blahh will always have a bigger strike.

covert are good for sabbing and also good for war because you can have 200k soldiers trained and over 400bil covert so its hard to sab over them.

attack are great for farming, they reduce losses like crazy and are very effective. i love my attack planets. they are the heart of my strike. and with them i am able to mass defences 3 times my strike (and with my MS) and still have reasonable losses. i just recently massed a 420bil def with my 110bil strike lol.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Ever wonder if it is possible to have enough defense to stop blahh from hitting you?

Yes its possible, and FTR its no the size of your defense that dictates weather Blahh visits you or not, its the size of your income

Learn to control it and balance income with Def.
