I must say it's too far...because Hitler is one of worst dictator that has ever reigned on earth.
But I also think McCain's and previously Billary's (lol) attacks and ads weren't much better...
I find it somehow disturbing how Americans do their campaigns..looks like political politicians wars.

Mugabe is zimbabwe's dictator who leads his country like a totalitarian, and emprisonned opposition's leader few days before election. He also commited exactions against farmers. Typical dictator.

I am sorry, but I object. Adolf Hitler was not one of the worst dictators on earth. He was by far one of the best to have ever lived, a little crazy and awesomely terrible, but look what he made Germany from what it had become after 1918. yes, he may not have done it completely a lone, but he was the leader after all. He was an 'evil' man, but not a bad dictator.

Anyone contesting that and expecting to be accepted need only contest their own level of intellect and ignorance too.

I will NEVER admire someone who wanted to exterminate all believers of a religion under reason that they were "low life forms", sorry. No matter what he could have done, been, or wanted.

You do not have to admire him. No one said that. You cannot, however, justify ignoring his success as a Dictator, despite his fall.

We are pointing out that though Hitler did control a very negative act, you cannot deny the history and facts of what he did for Germany before and during these things. He took them from the brink of collapse and brought them to the top, making Germany one of the most powerful countries in the world.

I'm going to have to agree with Semper; Adolf was an evil bstard, and killed millions, but he wasn't actually a bad leader and he led his country out of the dirt. I'm willing to say Stalin was worse, even though his country fought against Hitler, as he actually directly caused the death of more people than Hitler, and caused the death of hundreds of thousands of Soviet citizens (yes, his own countrymen).

On an unrelated note, Hitler also invented the Volkswagen Beetle in 1933; during WWI he noticed that the old WWI vehicles with the curved back end wouldn't flip over or take immense damage when hit near behind, so he developed a concept for a vehicle that had the curve both at the front and back; hence the VW bug.

His faults and idiocy ruined any slight temporary improvement Germany had. His downfalls and stupidity highly outweigh his slight accomplishments.

if you ignore Hitlers contribution to Germany you ignore his contribution to the world. Without Hitler reviving Germany and causing a war one of the few ways to truly reverse a depression the entire world would not have pulled out of the depression for a long while it is a very simple fact of life Hitler was a complete political genius the majority of his people loved him because he restored the greatness of the Reich however bad he was otherwise the German people only saw a person who was ushering in a new age of prosperity. The Autobahn was actually designed during WWII in order to quickly and efficiently move Wehrmacht from one front to another however it was not finished in time. Technologically under Hitler Germany produced the first Jet so anything you say has to take into account these facts so in reality Hitler may have been a terrible despicable person but he was still an incredible leader.

My family is German, we came to America before the war because the changes that were happening there. To even THINK you would HINT at such a claim marks you as insane, what he did to the Jews is the worst mark on my peoples history, and to think you tried to JUSTIFY IT!

this is so funny. what my colleague, semper, is trying to say is that Hitler ruled Germany rather well BEFORE the war and BEFORE the persecution of the Jews.

Economically speaking, Germany was a dead giant before Hitler came to power. He changed all that. He made Germany an economic power house. For a short time, the people of Germany had something to be proud of again.

That's what made Hitler great BEFORE WWII. We all know that he self destructed when he started persecuting people.
