Is it possible to "ask to join" an alliance. It says you can in the alliances recruit page in game, but i cant find how!!?

If you got to "List of Alliances" and then you can click Apply to Join or something next to the name of the Alliance.. me thinks..

yeh thats what i thought. Maybe something has been changed. Or maybe im being a tool.
Im pretty sure its just not a working function atm.

Are you sure you're trying to join an open alliance?

You are already in an alliance? Were you in that before when you were looking for the join alliance option?
Because you can't request to join one when you are already in one.

The ask feature is accessed through the alliance link on the command page.

No im not that stupid. I only just found an alliance.
But fair question.

In all truth, i know there was no way i could ask to join. I tried all that was obvious, so clearly something is or was wrong.

In the end i just asked for an invite, but i spose this should be looked at.

maybe this topic should be moved to bugs.

when you ask to join any alliance you must wait for the leader to approve this... look at your command center towards bottom where alliances are at and see if it shows you have one pending or something

dw bud i had nothing pending, i hadnt asked to join anyone. It just wasnt working. i have an alliance now

You can choose to display alliances by open or closed. You may have been looking at all the closed alliances?
