well if this experiment goes ahead it could result in nothing happening or might be nothing more than just an experiment which proves them correct or they could cause allot of damage, either way its very irresponsible to go ahead with something like this without knowing what to expect...

its like a drunk driver going full speed without any lights on a pitch black road and not knowing whats in front of you.

Silliness, but could happen...we never know. Intelligence doesn't always mean wiseness..
They can be very intelligent with big IQs and all, but that doesn't mean that they can't as well screw up and risk everyone's life!
Instead of working on that they should try to find a way to travel as quick as light does, that, would be useful!

I hope I am...because unlike a nuclear weapon, it doesn't destroy everything/poison everything in a perimeter of like 30km (dunno if more, or less, to be honest)..it just eats slowly but surely the whole planet and everything around in solar system!

And about black holes, I don't think BBC is unaware of things, I don't see them making a documentary made up on lies that far..incase black holes aren't a danger.
