hi all, i'm going to ascend in the next week or so... have you guys/gals got any advice for the ascension process...

all advice are taken with an open mind... and are welcomed

it doesn't really matter what race you choose. the bonuses aren't all that big. just ascend with the bare minimum and broker the rest to someone so you can get it back after ascending.

is that what i got to do before i do the ascesion process... i thought it would be alot more than that...

When you ascend, you lose everything.

Now, its not that big of a deal for a smaller player.
Like myself, I only lost 2 million units.

But for you, it would be a really bad idea.

ya got fss... i've had it for about just under 2 months now...

So, what you will want to do.

Transfere almost everything over to someone you trust, in a broker.
(You need units, and Naq to ascend.)

And then once you ascend, you get them to cancel the broker.

so the naq & uu will be taken to them temporaily... then after i ascend send them a message to cancel... i get everything back that i was going to send over... oh...

If you have any doubts, Broker the goods for the same amount so the other person can't cheat you.

example,,, you got 5 mill UU, and 10 trill naq

Set two brokers

5 mill UU for 5 mill UU

10 trill naq for 10 trill naq

Then even if they try to accept you lost nothing

Best if you do it with someone online tho, so its immediate, and you can rebuild your UP ASAP and get the most UP and naq production from your PPT, that and try to co-ordinate your ascention to maximise your PPT's. You can get atleast 8 consecutive days of PPT to rebuild with.

You don't loose Mothership weapons and shields though, but you do loose Mothership technologies.
You keep lifers too.
