MS bug

ok its not a bug but seriously WTH

*** uses its Nano Volley to inflict 317,728,400,000 damage, destroying 408 Energy Shields on ***
Blowing through the extended shield defenses, it also destroyed 369 Nuclear Volley, and totally destroyed 0 fleets!
*** *** adds 266,370,785,500 additional attack onto their ground troops!

*** uses its Nuclear Volley to inflict 14,709,184,500 damage, destroying 110 Matter-Phasic Shields on ***
Blowing through the extended shield defenses, it also destroyed 12958 Nano Volley, and downed 0 fleets!


this is just rediculous.

please look at change. thx

the amount of damage done should be proportional to that of the strike of the mothership, not of the total of volleys. plz fix admin, u fruited up big time here imo.

It happens because of the shields.

If the strike value is higher than the opposing MS's defence value, it will destroy a % of your weapons.

I'm guessing the MS had a ton of missiles and hardly any shields....

I'm not saying its a perfect system, but it does highlight a big drawback to spending tons on weapons, and hardly anything on shields.

Having such a high strike lets you bust through the shields of almost any MS there is... but having so few shields means almost anyone can bust through yours.

Currently I think the % of damage to an enemy mothership is fixed... maybe it should vary based on the damage rating to defence rating ratio. (much like army attack/defence damage calculations)

I was massing a guy and didnt repair afterwards, turns out his 15bil strike on his mothership killed over 90% of my shields, what a fruiting joke. srsly admin, hello?

why should i have to have repair bills of over double on my shields of his whole MS then on top of that not fkn realising, ok my mistake, but that alone is going to cost me shiiitloads. srsly. fixed rates are just.. grr.

90% of your shields? In one hit?? That would be a bug im guessing.

He said he forgot to repair whilst massing so i guess it wasnt in one hit.

Seriously though it shouldnt be fixed (if it is), if your shields are over a certain % of their volleys you should take less damage to your shields. Not saying it should be non-existent like before just not as unbalanced as it is now.

If you have 0 shields but lots of volleys then the damage is right your volleys will get owned.
Balance the MS.
