As some of you might know; stargate atlantis has been cancelled. Now I dnt have much time coz I'm at the local library uing their computer (Mine doesn't work) so I will just tell you that if you wat to find out more or you want to "Save our stargate atlantis" then go to www.sosga.net and you can get a plan of action.

lol SGA wasnt cancelled, it was a mutual decision between everyone. SciFi did want a 6th season look on blogs. It was MGM, Paramount, and CME that chose to end it because they didnt want 2 series going back to back like sg1 and atlantis. If you havent heard theres a third spin off coming aka Star Gate Voyager(Universe). When they were doing 40 episodes a season both shows ratings dropped then they dropped sg1 and atlantis's rating skyrocketed. Joseph's Blog has stated that they are planning at least 3 atlantis movies as of yesterday. Stargate Universe is going to have a huge budget for production being most of it is going to be cgi. I heard that Universes budget will be 3 times the budget that season 10 of sg1 had. They wont have that budget from scifi if they try both shows at once. not to mention every writer producer and co's have stated that the stargate franchise is stronger than it has ever been, in fact shows creators said if scifi drops them there stupid and someone will pick them up. scifi knows how strong stargate is right now and they wouldnt cancel stargate. Has anyone seen the dvr and live ratings together, they beat every show out right now. Between people watching stargate live and people that record it and watch it later is almost 4.0, GOOD GOD 4 Million people watching stargate. This franchise has been around almost 17 years and its still raking in boku fan base's. Speaking on immortal shows, Kyle Xy Supernatural Knight Rider Smallville Even The 4400 are coming back for more, a lot of people thought most of these shows were doomed. Even after losing Doctor weir on atlantis the ratings kept going up. hell even with woolsey the ratings were still up. Stargate is a drug, and just like a drug even if the quality is degraded a little(like losing characters) is still very addictive and will not die at least for another 5 years. Im guessing Universe will run for 5 years. And with Stargate Worlds Coming Out damn that game will last longer than WoW, not to mention the unlimited expansion packs they can make for stargate. the ori, wraith, nox, travelers, these are just a handful of races that arent in the game, theres not going to be much content in the first release of stargate worlds, also last thing i want to mention THERE IS STILL NOT A VIDEO CARD that will run stargate worlds. They recommend a dual sli with at least 3gb of dedicated video ram and at least a quad cpu with a very good cooling system. Minimum install on the game is expected at around 10-12gb with directx10.0 support. I hope the Ancient Seeder Cruiser Destiny has defenses and offenses. I cant wait to see fans speculations as to what it will look like. Shouldnt be big because im assuming they use merlins tech to create out of thin air the stargates. And if the Seeder Ship was sent out before atlantis was built then the technology may be more not so advanced.

the new series/sga movie look exciting, but personally i would have preferred for the sga series to continue rather than a movie.
