Just an idea, since the alliance banks are just building up and doing nothing right now, how about linking them to a war setting.

If a limited time war setting was activated then the alliance bank of the losing alliance would be evenly split, 50% into the victors alliance bank and 50% split amongst the members of the winning alliance.

The 50% into the victors bank would make the best fighting alliances have the biggest alliance bank balances ( Also any big income peaceful alliances would look tasty ) and the most tempting targets for those who want the 50% the could get given to there members by winning.

A new reason to make war with rewards that will quickly grow.


Any thoughts on this, good or bad ?

that would probably increase the amount of wars against super alliances... might be a very interesting update. I like the idea

To exploitable, and admin has already said that will not happen.


The bank is there to buy alliance upgrades.

I agree with Lore

I think it would be pretty cool if your Alliance bank (Naq in bank + All naq spent from bank) was used to tally up an Alliance Bank Rank.

This could be put on the Alliance rankings.

Then you'd have Alliances going to war with eachother to say do one of those special wars, where the victor then takes a % of the loosing sides bank and adds it to their own.
Thus increasing your bank size via war and not just income.

Could be fun

Sorry 12ag,,, but how many more things do we really need ranked?

Secondly, why do people want to always take from the loser? I mean whats the point of kicking people when they are down? Doesnt anyone actually want an opponent to get up and fight another round?

At any rate, taking a % of the losers bank is to exploitable as you will see a few alliances steadily smashing smaller weaker alliances just to gain the %.

So no real need to promote this behavior then correct?

good idea. but its easy to mess with.

it would be very dissapointing if the bank never got used for something really worthwhile. given the chance someone would abuse certain proposed updates, the alliance upgrades path may be the best option. unless someone has a way of making another idea work. would be great to get naq to spend from an enemies alliance bank though

Not really, smaller alliance would have smaller alliance bank balances and those who have recently been beaten would have nothing left in there alliance bank to win. I think it would make big alliances and alliance that have recently won wars the sweeter targets, but if theres no chance of this type of upgrade I guess this can be closed.

Well inactive alliances could become sweet targets, as larger alliances will surely keep theirs spent?
