For anyone who lost a loved one or knows someone who did, or for people who just want to pay respects to them.Let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

What is 911?

*edit* That was a stupid question, apologies. I could/should have known.
Blame the heat.

Oh say can you see
By the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed
At the Twilight's last gleaming
Who's broad stripes and bright stars
Through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched
Were so galantly streaming
And the rockets red glare!
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof to the night
That our flag was still there
O say does that star spangled
Banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
And the home of the brave

It isn't my place to make something into a global announcement. However, I am willing to leave this thread here for a few hours as it's in remembrance of a tragic event whch affected us all. If it hasn't already been moved or changed by the time I get back from work, then I'll see that it's put in the appropriate section.

Yes, and let's not start arguing about where this thread should go.
Let's just pay our respects for a day.

i can never forget, my 2nd son was born the day before this tragic event happened.
to the people who died, the families who lost their loved ones and the first responders (lets not forget the 1st responders who have died since and who continue to suffer and have health problems as a result of the toxic dust which was belched out by the towers collapse) will always be remembered by me and my family and my thoughts go out to all of those people, and i will NOT rest till the truth is revealed as to what happened on that terrible day because we ALL owe it to their memory, and there is no better way to honor that memory than by seeking the truth...
may god keep you all.

9/11 was an inside job. I do feel sorry for those who died for no one should have to go through that.

I second killtacular, those who died were not the ones who should have better died instead.
My thoughts are with the families of those who died on that day.
