Well, I spent years in SF from 79-86, so i started likeing the niners before Montana era..then we moved back here, of course the Redskins and Ravens are the local teams, I roo tfor the Redskins, but yea SF is my fav.

I am a newbie to the war, but wanted to share (since we're talking about the 'niners). I've been a fan since college, when Montana was at the helm. The 'niners were a machine. Rice and Montana were poetry in motion.
Alas, since their era of success has been eclipsed, I find it difficult to see any game on the tube. I live outside Chicago, and so have been able to lend a sympathetic shoulder to my Bears-fan friends when they've had a losing season.
