What is the best option when a person is in a long term war? What should they rebuild? What about offense? Etc.

Thanks in advance. :D

meh, I come out of perg, rebuild my strike quickly, go back in with turns (personal ones) and mass away :P

I never put up a big def and know that my strike will be sabbed away :P

That's what I have been doing, for the most part (except for the perg thing).

I have been building a small defense, so there is something for my adversaries to mass. I want them to have fun too. :-D But I can see in the long run that a lot of my respected foes have more uu resources than I currently do.

Does it come down to turn farming then, and occasionally massing/sabbing/acing what a foe leaves out?

I want to thank you Myseri for your experience. You are a honorable player to share with someone that is trying to do what he can against the Pond. :D

Well the entire question actually all depends on you and your opponents play styles.

If your far more dedicated and active then your opponent then it may very well be viable to build a massive defense as you can keep your income and take theres. If you and your friends co ordinate well you can even stop most counter attacks by attacking them when they start a massing.

Constant sabbing of strikes and taking their repair naq can end a massing quickly.

But if you and your group are the less active or poorer organized then its best to maintain as little as possible, and hope no one is online when you begin your attacks.

Thank you for the sharing your experience. :D It is a different perspective, and hints to a level of the game that I haven't seen yet.
