all i would like to know is how i can boot my commander? He/she doesn't play very much at all. I don't know how to get rid of them so i can choose a better commander. it was a newbie mistake. I don't want to declare war to kick them but i think i might have to.

just make someone else your commander. automatic boot. i have 4bil income per turn with 70mil lifers. that's steady income for you. if you wanna join up with me, pm me in the game because i have settings to not accept officers. if you join me, you will be my only officer.

Declaring war on your CO doesn't result in them being kicked, or the ability for you to kick them.

There are 3 ways of leaving a CO.

1) Ask them to boot you
2) Find a new CO and join them
3) Make yourself your own CO and then boot yourself if you don't want a CO

Yes it is. You get a small UP boost too.

No CO = 10% boost to income + 10% boost to UP

Making you your own commander = 20% boost to UP

isn't it?

The 10/20% boost is to raw UP only. It does not add 10/20% onto UP bonuses from planets + officers
