i was kind of half expecting one of those 'robber tries to hold up armed patrons at a gun convention with several cops nearby' kind of things and a jacks sarcastic seal of approval XD

playing on the blatent stupidity of the average joe america? Spraying a cop with pepper spray then running away?

Hardly an intelligent robbery if you ask me. I could have thought up that in my sleep.

(add's: yeah but I did not, that is because I aint a crook...lol.)

I once thought of placing an ad for people to participate in an anti-terror excercise by going into a public place with lifelike guns, bombs and stuff and threatening to blow the whole place to hell after which they would be taken in by police and the public would feel more safe.. the latter as a precaution should it ever come to a trial, where I would have at least the defence of having restored part of the public faith in the police and government.

Unfortunately I never executed said plan, mainly because it seems that such actions do constitute an act of terror and are as such pretty much punishable by jail sentences no matter the reasons you might have had.
Bloody shame though.. I would have called the cops on those guys just after they'd start threatening, 9 minutes of mayhem would have been priceless.

No you're not being chicken, you're just wise...pretty sure those people would want revenge for being fooled.

I'm sure those guys, who believed that ad for a well paid job, are pretty angry at this robber.

Well, at least it's a fairly humane and funny robbery. It's less funny when they manage to stop a transist van, pour fuel over the guards and threaten to light them unless they unlock it.

Your attempt at trying to make yourself look good, forgot to take into account that the average crook is an idiot. You also forgot that, while you may think that you can come up with the plan, the person in question actually had the balls to go through with it. Could I say the same for you?

As for having the balls to go through with it. Well that just isnt important is it. I am pretty certain I would, but there is the thing, no matter how desperate I was, I would not rob someone. Things that I would rod in a situation like this have no true meaning for me. I am not a very materialistic person at all.

Yeah man thats pretty good. Halloween is coming up so I wonder if there will be copycats. Youcould say you giving away tickets to a upcoming concert and the best looking Vampire wins the tickets. Then rob the bank dressed as a Vampire.
