Well, it finally happened. Time for JOS to bid farewell to a game that's stolen 2 years of his life.
I've had some great times in this game, and met some of the best friends I could ask for. I've had my fun, I've fought, made enemies of entire alliances, founded one myself, led one, been second in another, fought in a server war... I really should buy myself one of those "Been there, done that" t-shirts

I'd like to firstly thank my old mate Paradox for introducing me to the game. I don't even know if he still plays or goes on forums, but if you end up reading this, thankyou mate. I'm sure many people in SGW will hate you for inflicting me on them xD
I'd like to thank the BTU for allowing me to lead them for 6 months, and the BAU for being my home for a very, very long time. Hopefully one day you guys will allow me back into your room on chat... That is, if people ever learn to forgive...
Thanks also to TLE/TG for being one of the most interesting experiences I ever had in this game. I'd never encountered an alliance with such a family feel to it, and feel honoured to have been a part of it.
To all of you in SGW chat, it's been insane hanging around there. Beware, for once my computer is rebuilt, the JOS shall lurk again..

And now, shout outs to all my friends who are/were in the game:
- Bez: You. Be. Epic. You have to be the best mate I've made in this game, and I'm glad I met you through it. We have to get drunk again together sometime soon You were never afraid to tell me when I was being a n00b, and you gave me a role model to look up to and respect. If there's a funniest moment we had, it has to be exposing Caprica as King Multi. xD

- Balor: You're also another of the epic best mates to come from this game. And you damned well better email me soon -_- I need to be informed of this book ye be writing. And I demand a personally signed copy. You can't keep me away from your writing talent forever. I still have that pic you took one night when you were drunk.. You know, the one of yourself, me and Simmel?

- Amec: Hmm... What to say here. I've been friends with you, I've hated you, I've kicked you from alliances for the most ridiculous reasons, and I've stood up for you. Our experiences in SGW have been varied to say the least. I'd also like to apologise to IRC, and SGW in general, for inflicting the Fail upon you all.

- Feri: You've been a great mate to me, and I appreciate your friendship and support in those times of turbulence I experienced. Hope you're doing ok mate, it's been too long since we last talked.

- Haz: You're a character, to say the least. I'm just glad to have found a 3rd Tasmanian (Ex-Tasmanian) who lived near me, and I became mates with. The whole you liking Dr Who thing was great too, I despaired to be the only major Dr Who fan on chat. Can't remember if I ever told anyone before but it's all out now. By the way, you still don't exist

- Melanie: You have to be one of the most impossible to understand people to walk this earth. I'm glad to have called you my friend. Let's hope I catch you on msn one of these days

- Faceoff: You were a great XO, and an even better leader for BTU when I moved on. You've always been a steadfast friend, even after January, and that means a lot to me mate. Best of luck with your ingame pursuits, and let the old crowd know I'm passing on will ya?

- Kibawolf: Another great RL mate made thanks to this game. I'll never forget how disturbed I was upon seeing you in your AICON costume, and how epic I quickly realised you were. We have to meet up soon, I want you to help me plan a costume for next year's con

- The BMU: Thankyou. You were my family for a loooong, loooong time. You supported me when I needed support, encouraged me when I was disheartened, stood behind me if I erred, and let me know when I overstepped my boundaries or acted like a **Filtered**. I have no hard feelings toward you at all, and hope you all do well ingame

- Angelos: A great massing partner, and the one who was stolen by womenfolk from me. I'll win you back yet I will -_-

Farewell one and all, this game has been both a life-altering thing, and the cause of life-altering events. Let's hope it keeps going. And if I ever get time, I will return...
