im pretty certain there is no university in the world that old. If memory serves I think the first university was in northern italy? Venice or somewhere. not sure. In like 1100's!

Funny how within New Zealand Auckland is ranked lower than Otago University, but in the world it is higher (due to some research they do I think
)
