[spoiler]Well.. erm.. I don't know if you saw what I saw, but those 'Asgard' of yours were pretty much destroyed by orbital bombardments. And they did say they were the last of their band.. so while the Asgard were alive again; they died as well.

yeah i seen it was a big surprise. didnt expect it to be the asgard it thought there was going to be a new big bad in the area. was shocked but slightly disappointed.

I am sure they said they had an entire planet of settlers, that were living in intolerable conditions, and this would their war for all of them to move out and find a new world and advance.

Surely, if there was just THREE ships it would have been more than easy to relocate without wasting too many resources.


On another note. These Asgard are not evil. Selfish, arrogant, still considerably wise, and potentially ignorant on some level, yes, but nothing they have done has shown them to be evil as of yet...when an animal is caged in, you do think it evil for turning to aggressive behaviour...

not to mention there is nothing stating as a fact (as far as I know) that they are in fact the big new bad guy.

the last ep I watched is 05x07, looks like I have to download some more.

this is true but theres not much left of the series to introduce this new bad species that has been mentioned.

and thats a wrap atlantis is now over and this thread could be locked up and hidden away.....
