yesterday i tried to spy some rank guys at page 1 n 2.

i couldn't spy there due to a game msg that dont allow me.

it says i need 1/5 of their army, cant copy the msg now coz im at office.
anyway i was able to engage in battle.

can smone try to spy them

Did you have 1/5 of their army size?

I have encountered the same thing myself .... at the moment I had rank 1 in covert and who I wanted to spy on was within 1/5 range.

The message was something like "it is frowned to attack those so below you ... bla bla bla" .... so it's not the 5x rule.

It's probably some other form of "protection" for new accounts that isn't quite working as designed.

yea same, i dont think they have +15b army

It truely is a bug, its been mentioned several dozen times. Im not sure what is causing the issue but from what I am noticing it does have to do with the rank. Here is the senerio I understand, your rank is far to low. From some odd reason rank 3000 or lower can not spy rank 150 or higher, everytime I try I get the army size error, however if I adjust my rank to 2k or higher I can spy up to rank 50s and then get the error again. Not sure what happens again if I increase rank, but I have been at rank 100 and not been able to spy rank 2 before due to army size but a friend of mine who had less planets then me and less covert stat was able to spy rank 2, so whatever is happening is beyond my understanding....

Well I was under the impression the ranks did effect this, but i cant find where i got that idea from, but im still looking.
