well i am willing to bet this will start some controversy for American players but i think it will be fun, so vote for who u want as president. come up with some arguments but remember to always be respectful to both sides!!

a starting argument i guess can be Obama's inexperience, and i for one do not trust an inexperienced person with the most powerful army on the planet so yeah go from here people :)

McCain: 1

Obama: 0

I support McCain because McCain supports NAFTA.

Sure it needs to be changed, but Obama doesn't seem like he would give a flying **** about the Canadian side of it.

hehe Palin has done more in the last 2 years as Governor than Obama has done in his entire political career man. and what, if any, good experience has he had that makes him worth being the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet?

McCain: 2
Obama: 1

The point is mute. Obama is going to win, i've seen the polling data.

I myself, am one of those independents. Both have pros/cons.

McCain, very experienced and I like his history. Picked the wrong VP. And he's old, so that matters a lot.

Obama - Inexperienced yet highly intelligent. Picked the wrong VP, who's also old :P So that matters.

McCain dies, and the first woman president is someone who doesn't know anything.
Obama dies, and the one to take over in a very trying time, is a man who couldn't win a presidential primary.

Gates/Bloomberg08, you can't buy them....but they can buy u.

I also see a flip flopper, so to speak.
First it was "HOPE HOPE HOPE HOPE, DREAM DREAM DREAM."
Then it was All troops out of middle east.
Then it turned into withdrawl over the course of...blah blah blah.

Maybe im stuck on his early speaches, but nothing he ever said struck me as the man the media potrays him to be.

what is wrong with Palin? you dont like her just cuz she is a chick?

and current polls mean nothing, i myself know many people who lie on the polls just to screw with them :D

as far as McCain being old and going to die, that is stupid. he will be receiving the best medical care on the planet and will not die unless assassinated which wont happen.

Obama: 1

Obama
He's young, he's convincing, and has a goal to unite americans, and solve middle class problems there. Also plans to solve the financial crisis not only for banks, but also for expelled ones. And we all know it's NOT only a matter of liking people to solve it...just to stop the up&down of prices of housing prices.

Yes I'm curious too

Obama 2
McCain 3

She's unqualified. I like more experience. Gov of Alaska, doesn't qualify anything...sorry.

Hillery would have been better if you wanted a female president.

Presidents have died in office many times before, when you make the excuse that "it won't happen" you prove my point..

Well I won't be voting in the election unless I steal my mom's ballot and vote lol.

But, I'm gonna say that both McCain and Obama have huge weaknesses:

Obama:

[*]Shady history
[*]Although he hasn't said it, I suspect that he is for higher taxes. How else is he going to give everyone the piles of money he is promising?
[*]Bad energy plan. INFLATE YOUR TIRES EVERYONE!

McCain:

[*]Bad choice of running mate. I mean, Palin would probably be a bit more competent given a couple more terms of experience and maybe a bit of foreign policy experience, but....

However everyone should watch these videos:

To know who is lying to you right to your face about the economic crisis.

Now enter my vote for Paris Hilton :)

There have been several presidents to die in office of natural causes, the last being FDR of a heart attack.
A history book will do wonders.

The problem is, If Obama dies. At least Joe Biden has some experience.
Mccain is really old, and I like the man. But he might not last an entire term, as we don't need another ignorant governor as president.

This is the first election where there is a read chance at both presidential candidates being taken out.
Obama by the ignorant with guns...(I have guns, but i'm not ignorant) Some meth heads already tried to take him out
at the Democratic Convention. (Maybe they were from my area, big meth area).

McCain might have a recurrence of cancer which could incapacitate him during his term. Sarah Palin has not impressed me.

She has NO experience that is relevant to being president. I also don't trust her judgement to pick another VP after McCain dies.

Personally, i think everyone is screwed in this election. But at least there won't be anymore bush.

Here's a list everyone.

1
William Henry Harrison April 4, 1841 Natural Causes
2
Zachary Taylor July 9, 1850 Natural Causes
3
Abraham Lincoln April 14, 1865 Assassinated
4
James A. Garfield September 19, 1881 Assassinated July 2, 1881
5
William McKinley September 14, 1901 Assassinated September 6, 1901
6
Warren Harding August 2, 1923 Natural Causes
7
Franklin D. Roosevelt April 12, 1945 Natural Causes
8
John F. Kennedy November 22, 1963 Assassinated

first of all thx for correcting me. 4 out of 8 of the presidents were assassinated, ok. and the last one to die of natural causes was more than half a century ago. medical technology has made many of its greatest discoveries over this time period.

more importantly no one has said why Obama is qualified yet...
