Ok lets see if this will work with the folks here. The question is if you could have any power in the world/fantasy (ie like being bullet proof like superman) what would it be and why?

Oh and you can only choose to have one power, it can have more than one function but only one power, so you can choose to be bullet proof but not to be able to travel in time.

Ok mine is the power of immortality, the power to bestow or remove (from those i bestowed upon) immortality to anyone in the world including myself.

now then, what would yours be and why?

Immortality trumps all.. simply because with enough time, all things are possible for anyone.

So.. I pick immortality as well. And, as you so subtly did, also the ability to grant this to one other person. I wouldn't mind eternity with one person..

Ahh but you see mine would be to bestow it upon anyone as many times as i like. its just one power.

hence the dual purpose of removing it as well incase anyone abuses their immortality.

I couldn't bear the responsibility.
Keep in mind that having the ability to make people live forever also implies that not making them live forever is actually manslaughter.

No immortality for me, living alone forever not good that is..because when immortal, you wouldn't like to see who you live with, die.
Power to travel back in time, and have ability to remember few selected things of the time I went back from, like, to change past mistakes of yourself etc...I would pick!
Or have opportunity to go back in time without being seen and be witness of great historical events.
Past is better than future (immortality) in my opinion.

the power of memory. i would have a perfect memory, remembering what i want. this would make life a TON easier (schoolwork, tests, etc) plus i wouldnt ever forget appointments, dates, and such. i plan to become a computer programmer so being the first person to know the full java language would be a plus too

there are three best options for this.

the first, and most obvious, Immortality.

second, Time control.

third, Psychic powers.

i choose the third. because a full psychic has 3 branches of powers. it's also not ridiculously overpowered...

Telekinesis, Telepathy, and Teleportation.

I could make myself immortal, have the perfect memory, invincible and pretty much anything else i wanted to do/have.

As someone who could be called ridiculously greedy, i would definitely wish a power of precognition, able to tell what investments would pay off, make myself BILLIONS. Then hire Lois to make me immortal for a large paycheck.

No you cant do that, as that woul be having two powers. precognition & immortality. Stop bending the rules and stay within the parameters!

But for the purposes of this lil exercise assume that your the only person in the world with any powers so what other people choose wont be able to have anny effect on you.

Come on stop trying to get two powers and be greedy, pick one and be done with it.
