Trading Dark Matter Units

I have seen some people who say that they are trading DMU with other players. How do you do this?

If you selling DMU, you farm it and the sell your defence weapons and get the person you are selling it to, to attack you.

but what would you sell it for? is their ingame trading with other players?

There is no ingame trading in ascended. Most sell DMU for Naq or UU
A sends B XXX amount of naq in "Main" SGW. B sells his defense in "Ascended" SGW and allows A to take XXX amount of DMU. Thus the "Trade" is complete.
Ascended DMU can sell for AT, Naq, UU, or $$.
