Well. Lets see. Todd the Wraith, Colonel Carter, Mjr Davis, and a name "Enemy at the Gates".

Anyone else now looking forward to this episode, despite the fact it will signify the end of Atlantis as a TV series?

(1)They'll get a total asswhipping and get their collective behinds kicked from the Pegasus Galaxy forever.
(2)Carter and stuff fix up some kind of isolation shield, like the Ancients used to shield Milky Way Galaxy from the eyes and travels of the Ori, to shield out the Pegasus Galaxy.
(3)Or some device does that by itself, locking out the SGC from Pegasus forever.
(4)In any case.. at least one Wraith will set foot on Earth in that episode.


Now.. who wants to bet that I got 3 out of 4 right?

I reckon. Todd says sorry, and runs back off to Atlantis for the gene stuff, but they dont trust him again. (Ergo the picture of him in human clothing).
(Ergo, some closure, but not a complete end to the wraith story arc.)

I dont think they will be trapped on Atlantis, or kicked from it at all. I think it will be a simple case of, they have a run in with the new bad guys, things will escalate and they will actually become enemy's, (maybe the asgard, maybe the human coalition, maybe both...) and they will realise that there is this new super powerful enemy to take on, which will sorta be the last revelation of the show as a series as they all stand on the balcony of the control tower looking to the future.

We shall see though! Maybe the shock return of Anubis (one can only dream...a kull warrior walking through the Atlantis gate..) or the replicators...or even Michael reaching the Milky Way.

Hmmm... I have an idea on that.

Anubis, before his defeat at Dakara, sent a massive fleet to the Pegasus Galaxy as he discovered the location of atlantis when he possessed Carter on his escape from Earth. Once he regained control of his armies, he sent many, many ships on a long-term mission to capture Atlantis. Instead of Jaffa, the ships are manned by several loyal Goa'uld servants & a vast army of Mk. II Kull Warriors.

To keep the need of logistics down to a managable level, the Goa'ulds & Kulls are put in statis until they reach Pegasus.

Yeah Im watching.

It has been revealed that it is actually something to do with an UBER wraith hive ship heading to earth. One powerful enough to cripple the deadalus whilst it is on the offensive!

Hmm seen it and disappointed, Shepherd was going to do a kamikaze run with a Nuke on a fighter.... again, and of course escapes again, Ronin gets killed ( about time ), then a wraith revives him, why ??? Atlantis finally flies to Earth, then they cloak it and park it off the Golden Gate bridge, dull.

What did we want in a final episode

1) Glorious death for the hero types, self sacrafice, honor and such.
2) Taylor to get laid, hot steamy stuff
3) Atlantis either destroyed or made public, very public
4) All the best enemies fight each other and humans, replicators, wraith, the bad asgards, etc
5) Guest appearances from the old SG1 team

yep it was very disappointing could have been a lot better.

lets just hope the movie will be good.

The SG:A finale was terrible. It was too much in too short a time span, it should have at the very minimum been 2 episodes, though as many as four would have been better. It's the goddamn series finale, that's how they send off the show? Ludicrous! Should have had more of the SG-1 team. O'Neill should have been the one assigned to Earth's chair and if Shepard was still called to Earth, then Mitchell should have been his wingman. They also should have devoted more time to the epiloge, explaining what happens to the Atlantis team and set up for the movie. And most importantly, the dog fight scenes should have atleast lasted 15 minutes.

i think what will happen in the movie is that the tauri builds 4 or 5 ships and sends them along with atlantis and 3 ships they already have to the pegasus to fight the wraith in a massive space battle and when it goes all bad for the tauri the ancients will arrive and destroy all the wraith and then the ancients give them a address which will set way for the new series on board the ship destiny

universe starts before the atlantis movie is released, and the ancients do not interfere on the lower planes...

well if the anicents do not show them selves then what is the point on making programs and movies about them in the first place

i was so mad i almost got the hammer to hammer teh tv to be honest lol
yeah universe looks liek it will be complicated.

I both liked and hated the finale. As Jack said, it was too short. .it jumped around a hell of a lot and missed out a series of key things.

The third chapter in the Stargate television franchise embarks through the gate on Friday, October 2, Syfy Channel officially confirmed in a press release.

“Air” (Parts 1 and 2) will premiere as a 2-hour movie event at 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific (8 p.m Central). The following week, the show will stick with the 9 p.m. time slot. Amanda Tapping’s Sanctuary will follow at 10 p.m.

Not really that long to wait now.

As for the movie, haven't seen much about it yet, other than the title. Extinction could mean a lot of things.

im guessing they got the address from atlantis and was attacked by the goa'uld as you can see a death glider destroying the sandbags but the glider seemed faster at movement and firing what is wierd and universe must be 7 or 8 years after atlantis arrived on earth cus at the start the air force guy it is jack oneill and you can see him again at the table when there eating and talking about where the astra porta will take them.

and you never no the ancients the ones who havent asended could be out there and the others could no more than we know no matter if we have atlantis data base or not
