I haven't been around here for a while these past few months due to joining the army myself, but I got a message today from his sister. He was killed on duty on the 27th of september, and in case of death he had made a list of friends he wanted to be contacted, and I feel honored to have been on that list.

I am posting here to bring the message on to all the others that got to know him from the time he played the game. So please be respectful, don't post if you're just going to nag about this topic being here, I cleared this with Clarkey first.

Show your respect if you wish or better yet, share what you remember best from your interactions with him.

I remember best the humour and his jokes. He always knew how to lighten the mood in a conversation.
May you rest in peace friend.

This is awful. I used to talk/trade with Rob ingame and was very fond of him. What a tragic departure. I don't really know what else to say. Rest in peace bro. You were a good one.

I don't think anyone who knew rob could forget him. A good guy who always had a joke or a can of spam ready to open. Could guarantee you'd always find him in the "over 18" section on our old forums.
