Im guessing this is related to the topic here

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=128144

How can ID 1915052 have the same name as 55544

55544 is the real SR bebita

Yet 1915052 has someone made the exact same name SR bebita, also he managed to name his alliance THE DARK DOMINIUM how can he do this also, when both names are already taken.

I thought perhaps spacing, but I am not seeing the difference  :

SR bebita[ THE DARK DOMINIUM - spyeater]

SR bebita[ THE DARK DOMINIUM - spyeater]

The difference is one space.

Just for reference

c. Imitating another user.
The imitation of other users by creating a user account that is intended to deceive the community into believing you are another member of the community is not permitted.

Consequence:
The offending account will be banned and the offending users other account/s will be given one warning point.

I do not think that needs to be discussed here

This is not a bug. There are several "pianomutts" out there. As well as others. ETL had a few if i remember.

I do not think that it should be a violation, as they are using a strategy of mimicry. the disadvantage is if they rae noticed
by the person they are mimicing. Just mass em until they give it up, or leave them be.

forum rule and game rules are seperate.

However, the question should be posed to if the new bebita creates a forum account....is he breaking a rule?

How about pacts?

If someone creates an alliance called JANUS, then they would have priority for the name....Would anyone from
Janus be penalized for copying a valid ingame alliance...as pacts have no official ingame position?

It was already stated that there was an extra space, which means not the same name. This should be addressed, an remedied.

both GC and me counted the spces and we did not see an additional or missing one, Bill

Perhaps Lore could tell us where he found it?

I would very much like to know aswell where it was found,

When i copied both names into notepad all spacing was exactly the same, there is no reason for the game to remove a space from a name, this could cause bugs when ascending.

I have explained the 2 space thing here already.
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=128237&p=1549486#p1549486

It takes the 2nd space out so copying and pasting the name will still show 1 space.

Confirmed: if you look at the html source, the copy appears to have prepended his/her name with two spaces...
