About flipping peace settings. I have an inbox full of tom, **Filtered** and harrys setting peace to my entire alliance membership.

Can we get rid of them?

There is already a Delete All Messages button I believe.

Or did you mean deleting all of one type of message i.e. peace setting, trade, personal message.

XY Has set peace with your entire alliance membership.

Or something like that. Maybe a mod could rename the topic..

These messages weren't sent before..
It isn't needed - it was a convenience before if you peace with all of them, and you wouldn't spam their inbox.

So I think only alliance leaders should get these messages or noone.

I'd say it information people need to know. Its not that difficult to delete them, tho yes it is aggervating at times.

The message to each member was requested at last weeks admin meet and was implemented there and then.

Just click delete all message if you don't like them.

these messages are kinda filling my inbox. and deleting all messages isnt exactly a precise tool in that it deletes useful messages.

perhaps if there was a subsection in the inbox? eg main inbox is pms that people have sent intentionally. the subsection could contain all automated pms (for trades, peace settings, planets discovered etc)

thoughts?

is it worth the coding? or simply something to pacify laziness?

I could go either way myself, as long as it doesnt slow gameplay or increase the horible lag I don't care.

maybe. depends on how difficult it would be. anyone know? there could be simpler ways like having a 'show all' button or something.

21 of my last 25 pms received are automated ones from trades, ms searches and alliance peace declarations. quite a lot really.

Save important pms and delete the rest

too many to save on an individual basis. any pm could turn out to be useful.

perhaps if the name of the sender has the current relationship tags (*peace or *war) like the batlleground screens, then it would be easy to just go through and delete the peace messages from ppl you are already at peace with. i could easily put up with all the messages if that was implemented.

i know there are much more elegant solutions but they would take more coding than it might be worth.

It is getting annoying. Every time someone ascends, which is apparently daily , I get another 20 to 30 messages setting my alliance to peace.

why cant u just click it it not difficult

pms are records and can be useful. all these peace/war/alliance peace/alliance war/broker/planet search result/uu sent/naq sent etc pms cloud the good pms, such as those from ppl in janus pact asking why i hit them

would be good to have a show all button (or anything) to see the auto pms. otherwise you only see pms sent intentionally by someone.

If there was some way to assure that you didn't lose the message that were sent after the page loaded but before you hit the "delete all" button, that would work fine. I don't know how much more coding that would take.
