I've not been playing for long and I've been reading about ascended beings... I've spoken to a few people in game and they tell me I've got to get G&R points by being in the to 1600 players...

If I do manage to do this difficult feat and gather enough points for ascention, is there a recommended army size to be at? I only ask because I've been told you lose a chunk of everything when you ascend...

Apologies if this has already been asked, or perhaps shouldn't have been asked at all...

hmm personally i think the best army size to ascend with is probably 10mil miners/lifters and as you ascend more and more, you therefore lose more. build a decent raw 30k. to give you a decent ascended bonus start

I agree with ARC's thinking. I always want to have a jump on rebuilding after ascension, to place me back in ascension range again. I would look at having about 5 million or so UU then you want/need, so you can sell it off on the market and have a few trillion naq to rebuild with. So . . . . 10-15 million army size, after ascension, based on your playing style.

Yes.

I ascended for the first time with 9mil army...... and that was too few IMO. I ended up going from prior to LG+1 with 20mil+ and I had the UU and stockpile available to jump straight back into gnr range (though I did have a 9bil per turn income at the time which helped).

Id honestly suggest you get your first ascension done asap and then grow and set yourself up for a run of 5 consecutive ascensions.

Right, I need at least 10 mill army size and a bank full of naq to prepare for my first ascention.... Right, got it...

Just need to get into G&R range now....
