Would you play a server if it was a "Old" style play of this game? Basically, before Mothership's and Planets? A non resetting server. Where it would actually cost something to mass, where people would think twice before massing others, where war cost something, and where people will actually win and loose wars because others cannot grow during it!

I understand that this would simply create another game for which people would want to play, however for people like me who play Main, and no longer play any other server's including ascended due to updates that I disagree with or dislike. I personally have plently of time to play a new server and would limit the time I play on main to play the new one as it would bring the game back to it's roots. Actually, it would not, but in another form it would recreate the roots.

No ascended.
No Planets.
No raiding.
No mother ships.

I barely find motivation to play Main not sure if I could take on Origins, but I voted maybe.

Not that I know much about it, but doesn't the German server run an older style?

i wouldnt play it, because i wouldnt want to start from nothing. i usually dont have alot of time, so i would need much longer from the rest of the players to build up

Um... I thought the german server started out 'old style' but has developed a bit beyond that. Someone who actually plays would know though. lol.

Another thing to point out, while some would not be interested in playing the new Origins server, think about the people who left because of how far the game has gone or the people who consider leaving on a regular basis for the same reason. I think this would attract new attention from players all over, AND give new players a chance to start fresh and the complaint of people not being here from the start and being behind people who have been here since the start would fade on this server. (Until it's old as well.)

I owuld emmediatly vac my current sgw account and start in Origin Old days for the win

Cant play the german server, Cos i dont speak german...

...Id like to play this origan server though....Give me a chance to dust off the old gamemanship...And i bet it would show up ALOT of the players who consider themselfs awesome
