Setting war, doesnt ignore nox when sabbing

I thought that if you had war declared on you by anyone, and they used
nox + any realm alert,
That it was void and you could attack as much as you wanted, why when sabbing someone who has set you to war, does the nox+realm alert not get ignored.
I was sabbing someone who was on nox+crit but had me set to war, and i got repelled because i needed to send in twice as many.
Just thought id ask!
Thanks

I thought it only applied to NOX? Realm alert is not effected by war or peace settings?

lol
realm alert always has full effect, so does the sab limit
and nox only gets turned off if both parties are at war

If i have Nox + Crit, set, and i declare war on someone, i lose the nox+crit, they can hit me forever and there is no delay nor will i phase out, so only setting war 1 way counts.

You lose nox protection when you set war, you do not lose realm alert status (ie critical). You always have to factor in that 1.7 times power.
