Your influence power is based solely on your number of planets (glitches excluded). It is ranked, showing you how your army size relates to the others on ascended.

but sometimes it switch to a false value. Is that rank 1 influence? That would mean 500 billions planets.

I thinks he's talking about when your train something right on the turn change and get some crazy big influence power and get rank 1 influence for a turn.

I'm not sure. All I know for certain is that it is more than 11 bil, and less than 20.

But don't put too much money on top influence. In Ascended, the tryly dangerous players have much larger CERs than would be guessed from their army size.

I was intentionally vague because I do not have the top spot in influence. I can see it on farming runs, but it is not my place to point it out to the community.

If Rank 1 influence would care to comment?

Influence per planet is increased by charisma levels is it not? So if 2 people have the same # of planets, the one with the higher charisma level will have the bigger influence power. At least thats how it used to be...

And yes there are 2 bugs Bilbao, sometimes (most of the time?) it craps itself and resets your influence to your # of planets x 1000. It's useful for being nosy and finding out how big people are when you spy them

The other gives you rank 1 influence. Nearly everyone playing has been a somewhat bemused 'victim' of this one.

@Insider - it is not influenced by your charisma anymore. If you look at your influence power as per Introspection, then it and your army size should be the same. That is, if you manage to catch a good turn without any bugginess. I think it changed with the previous large bunch of upgrades.

So yeah charisma does increase influence - but I don't think it affects your influence rank which is solely on planets yeah?

sorry for the double post but this game can be ironic sometimes. Shouldn't have started talking about the bug.

I just remember to sell my weps right before turn change and then hurl abuse at the screen thinking I was a second too late cause I didn't drop rank.

Test it a few turns after buying a new level. Buying levels changes it temporarily, hence the bug we have. I think the is deeper than we think.

After buying a charisma and NOT waiting for the turn change:

Outward charisma 833

After the turn change:
Your Physical Expanse 10,797,180,013 Planets
Your Influence Power 10,797,180,047,000
Outward charisma 833

The last few digits aren't the same, and the influence power is 1000 times larger, but the first 8 digits being the same makes me quite sure that influence power is based on army size and nothing else.
