There is no set way, its generally been succession. Now there are three of us so I assume its the choice of the remaining 2 admins if one should leave.

Basicly there is no clear or defined path.

and i didn't want to be Forum admin when i got the job, so i don't think it's a "volunteer" position, it's an appointment.

That statement is totally untrue as far as I am concerned.

I was not very well know, as in talked often with or knew well smoosh or Jason when I was offered my position. IDK about Robe and Buck. I often butted heads with Smoosh, and have talked to Jason less then 7 or 8 times.
So in my opinion that is not the case.

matters not. You know better than that lore. The mere fact you bumped heads with smooth..for instance...makes you known to him. You are also known to Buck and Robe.

I am not implying it is a bad thing btw...lol. I am strong believe in you should use what you have, and even if you dont, nothing wrong with knowing the right people and it paying off. Just because you may have intended it (which a person with your calibre of character probably would never do..) does not make it negative.

(Just to make things crystal clear here..I am in no way saying Lore is a manipulative and social genius, unless he would like me to say it! )

Don't we all, dear.

My opinion on the process should be:

1) Be respectful to everyone on forums, even if they try to verbally abuse you, don't bring yourself down to their level (yup i sometimes fall foul of this, but i don't care anymore )

2) Apply to be a section Mod, carry out this role for a considerable amount of time whilst continuing to be respectful (again i have fallen foul on occasions... again i still don't care anymore)

3) When opportunity arises get promoted to Global Mod status, whilst continuing to be respectful

4) After even more considerable amount of time you may be chosen by the existing admins to be a Forum Admin if and when a position arises.

Not everyone is cut out to be a Forum Admin, not everyone would want it, but no-one should go from Member to Admin, or from Member to Global Mod.

If you want to be a Forum Admin the first thing should be to apply for a Mod postion (you never know when one might arise).

While this topic is here a question for Lore and buck and at the same time request...


Would you two be so kind and answer to my pm I sent over this forum. Either of you is fine since I first sent it to lore and after no reply sent it to buck now I specifically didnt wish to sent one to Robe since I wanted to adress it to as neutral as possible admin

...As for who how what and where, You get appointed, Noone who wants to be an admin, Should ever be one. Lore got in on Merit of all the hard work he did, Robe because she would being balance and a level Head...And i....me...Old Buck...Well i guess they just couldnt put that one off any longer

...And why was smoo chosen in the first place? You cant simply make sweeping statements and claim them to be evidence of something.
