it just tells u that their mothership is either gone or they dont have one. i believe.

No i spyed someone 2 times the first one it doesnt appears the second one it appears all between 10 seconds

this discussion seems funny somehow...
it tells ya the target has got an MS. somewhere. maybe out there, or maybe in here. it might be just a small, harmless frighter, or it might be ssd eclipse. ya'll never know. as they say: ya can't tell how deep a puddle is until you step in it.
sometimes it doesn't show anything cos ya're not employing 007s or the institute guys like, so your spies are not 100% effective.
also: try to dock yer MS there and fast-rope yer troops behind enemy lines. they'll be going into battle shouting "surprise!". believe me. nothing confuses enemy defenders like a bunch of guys running at them shouting "surprise!"

Its less expensive to battle your mothership will not be engaged with their mothership if you were to attk. If thats what you mean.
