I know how to stop the Hellboy type people out there stealing!

We Have Trusted Trade Brokers that collect revenue on behalf of their clients & then pay the supplier.

It will make trading safer for newbies & even older traders.

Just an idea

lol the only way to stop people scamming like that is to stop trades ALTOGETHER.

Sorry, but i'm sure you are sincere, but even with your idea it's still open for exploitation.

I think what it does is creates a group of trusted people to trade with

& the traders have a set of rules with how they trade - it's better then what we currently have.

& maybe also we get the game admins to approve the traders & if there is a scam the admins reverse it.

A group of trusted traders? trusted by who? There is not a single person in this game that is trusted by every single person in this game. Therefore there is NO trusted person.

Admin get involved in approving the traders lmao.

Sorry mate, this idea has come up many times, and you know why it hasn't been done, because Admin isn't going to get involved, why? because how would he know who is trusted?

lol funny ppl not getting scamed wheres the fun in that :S anyway admin did wrote if you get scamed its your stupid mystake just in a more corny cind of way

this idea been suggested before; 3rd party overseers keeping trades scam-free.
trade brokers should simply be the responsibility between the one brokering and the one accepting. as it is now....

Nice Idea Mark but I think the reputable traders would have to organize this themselves and kinda have to an extent with trade feedback threads. Personally I always read the feedback threads before trading with any of them.

i agree. it's a good idea but there's always some1 out there looking to scam and another some1 falling for it. then there is the hacking. suddenly the so call "trusted" trader is scamming every1 in the group. in that case the losses would be more b/c people are over confident from there false sense of security.

i understand where you are coming from mark. this is a great game and i wish there are ways to make it 100% safe, but we just all have to be careful, and police ourselves and one another.

I think there are people being trustable to trade with in this game, people who traded multiple times and get only positive words on feedback/never get complaint about them.

LOL anyway this was discussed to great lengths and a very viable plan made, but even it has its cons, mainly being, the cost, and the fact the "trusted" people are giving up their time for free. I'll try to find the old thread.

The only way to make it so that you get the 1 guy everyone can trust is to have admin be the middle man.

As he has the ingame power to take good's by force if someone tries to scam him (lol) and he can take a % cut of the $$ to make it worth while for him. Its just a matter of making it fully automatic, otherwise he'd have to sit their and do hundreds of trades,

yes because admin has the time to oversee hundreads of deals each week
