Time to make the game more intiresting

This game needs some real updates.

Massing in this game has become pretty much bored. What can you kill? Defence and covert and AC. I personaly think that that should be changed.

Strike should be able to be attacked. This is a major one. All someone has to do is build up a massive strike and keep it there. You can only sab so much to get the strike down. ANd most people can just get it right back up. We should be able to mass the supers in peoples strikes.

MINERS should be able to be killed. All the big players in this game just stuff most of their UU into miners. You can't mass miners. So I was thinking that we should be able to kill them. That way when we mass someone we can really mass them. Not just kill their few killable units and be done with it. I am talking about TOTAL distruction. Miners should be able to be killed. Lifers should be the only "Safe" unit in the game that can't be killed. Give the lifers some value again.

Make massing a bit harder to do. Raise the strike required to mass a defence. Make it to where it is only 1/3 or even 1/2 of the defence to mass it.

Make it to where the only way to totally mass someone is to declare total war with the persons alliance. This would make better and more intiresting wars.

This will also help out with smaller players. And newer players. It would give them a chance. Instead of being beat down by all the larger players.

So what do yall think about these ideas?

Good intentions, but to me.....Completely goes against this statment.

This will also help out with smaller players. And newer players. It would give them a chance. Instead of being beat down by all the larger players.

This would make it even harder for new players. They piss someone off by accident, they can lose everything they have.

Then the larger players, even if they lose everything. They still have that huge UP to create more units, while the smaller player is completely done in.

But the smaller players would still have a perty good chance. Cause remember, larger players have more to lose then the smaller ones.

You do realise, that anyone can convert 100% of their miners to lifers right?

so all you really do is stop someone from having units to fight with, that or they will have to buy them from market to war with.

If that came in I'd be moving mroe of my men into lifers. A bit annoying but oh well.

But let's say that a little guy annoys me and I squish him, then he has absolutely nothing to hit me with in return. That's not very fair. Or if he hits me pre-emptively, believe me I can hit back hard.

while I do like the idea of massing or somehow touching attack supers, I don't like the idea of touching miners (and that's not just 'cos I have a heap of them). look at it another way. If someone manages to mass me then they get the fun of my income, if they killed my miners no income :D So in that way I can actually fund someone smaller in attacking me.

This though is very biased towards those with large UPs and those who make the first strike. For example, I'm in an alliance happily going about alliance stuff and someone mouths off. The next day we are ALL flattened. How are we meant to fight back? We can't if all strike supers, all defence, all miners and all spies are gone. So that's hardly very good for anyone and puts a distinct advantage towards those who go for the first strike.

I like the ideas however I admit they are flawed! I'm sure with a little work something could be done to limit the damage and still make it possible to do some damage. Wars are just long drawn out farmfest that have no real means to end! Although making def harder to mass would be a nice.

And also getting lifers should be made harder. SO people don't just consstantly train and untrain to get it.

UMMMM, i wish I didnt have any?

I'd love to be able to sacrifise them in ascention or something. But no one seems to want to train 33 mill AC units for me to kill, and nickel and diming them is just too tedious :?

Real war favors those who strike first, thats just a fact. Why should we change a function that supports reality and logic?

yes and no

sending 1000 attackers against 10,00 defenders would result in death for the attackers in r/l. But in this game the attackers would win. So no, reality and logic does not fit into this game.
