It is with great sadness I must inform you that Hensenshi, who was recently going by the name Divine Seion, has passed on from this world.

As a few of you might know, in late September Matt (Hensenshi/Divine Seion’s real name) was diagnosed with a rather rare blood cancer. On November 19th he underwent surgery to have his spleen removed, and the following Sunday he returned to the hospital after having reopened his incision. A subsequent surgery to repair the damage went sour and put him into a coma to which he never recovered. He died on Thanksgiving Day from complications of the latest surgery.

My hope is that you will all remember him for what he loved doing, and that was serving his country.

This is such a huge Tragedy and is a big loss to anyone who knew Hen.

Im really sorry for your loss, And Rest in Pease Matt.

That's awful.. Hensenshi was such a great guy.

RIP Hensenshi, didn't really know him, but it's always really bad to know that a member of community passed away.

Had my disagreements with him, but to be honest Hensenshi was a great person.

It is with great sadness that I read this message.

I was I believe the last person to speak to him before his surgery. He just turned 23 on the 12th of November. When he was diagnosed he told his close friends and we kept it to ourselves.

We knew the seriousness of this second surgery but just kept hoping for the best. I was worried when I did not hear from him after it.. especially as my text and phone went unanswered.

Matt.... I love you too. Those were the last words he said to me... I will remember him always. **mass mass mass, poke**

is all I can say.

At times like this how can the right words be spoken? I didnt know Hensenshi, none the less me and my family will have a vigil in our own way.

Im sorry but my first post really didnt do it any Justice.

A couple of people are saying they didnt know Matt, And thats there loss, it really is.

I'd like to say a couple of things, Although i hadnt really spoken to him until he came back to the forum a few months ago , For quite some time, I did get to know him quite well a year or two back.

He was a Brilliant Mind, A genuinely nice person. if he said he was going to do something, he was going to do it. He was not only a good player in this game, but he was a good man in Real Life, From what i could gather.

This has really hit me quite hard. I cant think of what to say so ima stop now.

Where do i start with this, im physically shaking and somewhat emotional at the moment so please bear with me.

Matt was like my long lost american brother from another mother, the deeds we have both undertaken together in this game and indeed over many others will always stay close with me.

Even before i knew him i respected him, he was someone i looked up to when i first started this game and wanted to emulate. As time went on i was lucky enough to become alliance mates with him, i believe from then on in GenLucky dubbed us 'thick as thieves'. We massed together, we commanded together, we Modded together, we once broke Beta server together....oh and i got to insult him like crazy!

Like True Dirty Dozen...We fought together.

This game has lost a true legend, but i have lost a true and very very close friend.

Keep on massing Brother...leave some AC for me when i get there!
