Well, when it was declared, nothing happened at all, there was no sign anything was declared

We had a war of attrition declared upon us today.
We did NOT accept it.
However the blood realm still took effect.
Is this meant to happen?

Happened to JedimasterX in beta, was dicussed repeatedly stating if it happened in beta it could happen in main. It never got any response from Admin.
And in your case Tekki, it was a 2 man alliance not 30 days old so its at the very least, a double bug if not a triple.

I've never actually seen it written that the alliance must be more than 30 days old or have more than 5 members to declare the war types. I could be wrong though but I think people are assuming the alliance activity rules apply for the war types.
But the blood realm coming into effect immediately without acceptance is kind of odd.

Jedi has a rather lengthy thread on it, I'll try to dig it up

Hmm thank you Lore.
Oh well since the admit meeting times are impossible for me to get to, I'll just have to keep this thread bumped.

What bug- people keep talking about a bug- I was under the impresion thats how the war works. You get blood realm damage intill the war is accept and then all the other effects kick in.

Wrong.
It should be accepted before you are able to attack them with the blood realm traits. Not declare it. Mass whomever you wish. Leave your alliance, then start a new one and repeat on a new alliance.
Bug? I think so.

yep it is a bug, cuz it gives an unfair advantage to the one declaring it. the agressor can kill atack supers and atack weapons without the other party accepting the bloodrealm. without the same happening to him if it is not accepted. that is not the way that is suposed to be
PI has been declared war on by a lone wolf ! that is simply illogical. and even if the alliance was disbanded after declaring the bloodrealm should still go away

Actually Zeeky, that's not quite true. If you attack the person back, then you get their defence and attack troops, regardless of if the declaration is accepted.
That is I guess if they haven't disbanded their alliance.

in my case there is no enemy alliance. just a lone wolf without alliance
