Hello, fellow SGW players,
I need some advice...

I'm a Ascended Prophet of the Anja, rank 392, with a 36 mil army and I am in Perg... have been for many weeks.
(No, not secret stats by any means...)

I having been farming some dead accounts in an alliance called Mark of the Asgard, for a few weeks...

In this alliance, there was recently a huge player named WATERDAWG, ranked about 32, with stats I can't see.
He's in normal, and my very peaceful officer, Nosteratu, ventured into normal to help another friend...

WATERDAWG saw my name in the alliance attack logs, and massed my small, 5-million-army, peaceful officer in retaliation.

I had not even touched any active accounts there in the past 10 days.

After that, of course, WATERDAWG is "All Quiet on the Western Front"!!

The next day, he wanted to forget the whole thing...

He's since left Mark of the Asgard, and gone to Imperial Darkness...

Okay, I know that you can't get to the original link unless you are a member of the "Mark of the Asgard" alliance's site... what I'm hoping is that other members can verify my story...

If not, I'll be glad to share my forums password over there with Spacey, or someone else like that... who could verify my story.


My officer is very peaceful and went from like a 4.8 mil army to less than a 3.75 mil army.
He was hoping to ascend before New Year's, and I feel bad... is this something I should have forseen happening?

I asked my friends in normal to help me build him back up again, and they did a pretty good job.
I forgot to figure in how much money his MS cost... so his MS and his defense are still a little shy...

I was hoping the general community could advise me, does this happen often?
Where do I go from here? I mean, if I can't farm dead accounts without massing...

If our roles were reversed, and I massed his tiny officer for farming anyone in our alliance, wouldn't I be toast?

What happens when other huge players want to farm these dead accounts?

Has WATERDAWG pulled this kind of thing before?

If I were u and not the IF part i would have gone to the main realm and fight him. The game doesnt acctually make it hard for uto fight back no matter at what army size. Though im not sure how big the army of ur opponent is.

I mean the lulz factor is great but other than that the value isn't really great.

bottom line, mass him back, swallow it and move on, mass him later when you're bigger.

The value for 'you' may not be great, but the value for the 'author' me be a lot because he is asking for the advice of the community.

The decent thing to do is give some advice, and not kick him when he's down.

nah.. just convince him to get the same broadband i'm using and ya'll be able to mass him while he's reloading pages.

I think the bottom line here is that you always need to be careful who you farm. Even if accounts appear inactive, it's always a good idea to check both their commander and their alliance before attacking them. People on this game are always looking for excuses to mass other players, and 'they farmed my office/alliancemate' is one of the more valid ones.
