Complaint against a sig

image in question used as REK's sig.

Image

i don't know about any other people, but the words used in this sig are quite meaningfull and abusive to red headed people.

Also the "beating step children about" or what ever it is is extremely distastefull. people are abused in real life and it seems that you are openly saying its fine to Child Abuse which is an occurance.
so mods please discuss this and i would like this sig taken away or altered. this isn't a personal "dig" i am just asking you to remove or alter the sig as it offends people.

thanks

It's an expression, one that is widely used through out America. There is nothing wrong with it, I personally believe that anyone who does find it offensive is simply looking for something to be offended by, then again I have heard that expression all my life.

not everyone lives in America and have heard that expression.
it may be an expression but some people are sensitive to certain catageries,

Didn't say they did, just that it is widely used, and how I felt about those who consider it offensive, and why I feel that way.

"well then your oppinion is not valid here." that is a common "expression"
do you find it offensive?

It is a common idiom at least in the US and even though its origins might be not politically correct, it is not considered offensive.

What I find offensive, and what is against the rules are two entirely different things.

Jack's Ghost, i am merely showing you another version of the "expression" not trying to insult you or saying it is against the rules. i am just saying that the expression being looked at is offensive to people who have never heard of the expression just like the expression i showed you. do you understand what i am trying to explain? and the question i asked before still stands, you do not have to reply but i know the answer.

Indeed, from America, but this community is from many different countries.

It's in poor taste, admittedly, but I don't think it constitutes a break of the forum guidelines. We can't be expected to police what is potentially offensive to every culture on earth.. there are too many cultures and too few mods.

its just something to cry about, im sure any 1 person could go through the forum and pick out something that is "offensive" i dont like the word kill, i dont like the word ghost i dont like the death, to be honest it is an opinion and u are free to express it but if rek ro any1 for that matter can put jsut about anything in their sig. ive seen things much more offensive than that but they r still around

First of all i love how u try to debate REK's sig as offensive or its sensative to certain categories. It's a game for gods sake treat it like a game. Medal of Honour had Nazi's in it do u wanna file a complaint about that to cause it offensive to victims of WWII. Rek has used that line a lot and its a sort of personal saying of him. Theres also one in my quote :P Saying something doesnt make him act or do u really believe rek had sex with a TJP member and faked it? Its called role playing and rek is the bad daddy ;)
