Yes it has been suggested many times, but feel free to try it again.
It was put in place for a good reason tho, and I doubt you will see it go.

I would like to see it go though I'm admittedly biased, however I'm also realistic so don't think it will.
What I would like to see instead is the rate that it grows returned to 100million UU a year, rather than the 25million per year it has been reduced to.

in my opinion i think the game needs a good reset but that just me.
as for the cap it is there for the reason of letting the smaller ones catch up.

What happens when you hit this cap???? does the plague get stronger as you get closer so you will never reach or is it like hitting a wall and you can only grow at the same rate as it regardless of UP or whatever

Under your training tab you will see
(note: if you total population size is greater than 414,383,562 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 310,787,671 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 207,191,781 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 41,438,356)
So as of this message if you hit 414,383,562 total fighting force the plague hits you and you lose 22K+or- "Trained" UU per turn.

well, if youre not going to get rid of the pop cap, can you guys actually count the fighting force without the miners, cause honestly, how do miners help you in a bloody fight? they help in rebuilding, but not in the fight itself, so at least cut the miners out of total fighting force, keep it to covert, anti-covert, defense and strike units, thats the fighting force right there, not the miners

Do you realise what you just said?
95% of a normal army is miners!
C'mon, everyone knows the CAP sucks but it was also but in for a good purpose.
Its ALOT easier to grow when your big than when your small, without the cap it wouldn't be a long time till we see 1bill army size.

Personally I find the caps irritating, but even so I would prefer to keep them. Without them you would have runaway accounts that will become so strong that they wouldn't be a challenge to others - they would be uncatchable. The caps as is provides some sort of level playing ground that gives the rest of us a chance to have fun as well.

It increases by x units per day - all of the caps increase by a set amount each day.... I remember when the cap to get in to perg was 25 mil lol

It increases by 136k units a day - approximately 25million UU per year.
It used to be 100million a year but the latest round of updates reduced it to the above.
Returning it back to the 100mill per year would still allow fairly decent paced growth though.
