Australia always do the best fireworks display. Would love to be there to see it some year

Hope you like my little new year 'song',... 'songish'... something like that
One year flew by, and it all looks like it ended in the blink of an eye,
some take this time to say goodbye, others use it to say hi,
but either way girl or guy, open or shy,
everyone's getting ready to fly, together high into the sky,
bottles of champagne popping, families eating grandma's chicken topping,
couples holding their breath to kiss on midnight, when darkness turns to light,
cause of rockets that make children go HAPPY, and parents NEW YEAR.
On that day problems become past, friends running to parties fast,
a day that is still unsurpassed, the day when everyone turns and has fun,
because with a new year there's a new sun, shining on you,
giving you hope, pleasure, optimism and more and more,
that'll raise you up from the floor.
Walking in the streets full of life, you think it's like that in the afterlife?
doesn't matter cause we're living right here, right now,
spread your arms and wings, take a deep breath and at least for once feel like kings,
it doesn't matter who you are, where you live, what you do,
because here we're all the same, just make sure that you're moving to the groove.
Counting down the seconds, shaking, hardly anticipating,
your body waiting to jump in the air, touching the clouds and feeling the feeling so rare,
jumping so hard, you're everywhere, in your eyes a seducing flare,
you feel like a regular millionare.
Hope you liked it, I did my best in the 1 hour of free time I had
