ok well everytime it is clicked you get one extra UU. wat i was thinking is that every time it is clicked you get 2% or 3%. i just think that when people have vast armies already 1 extra UU isnt goin 2 do much.

yeah i think this is a good incentive to increase your army size and up
maybe 4% of your total UU value could used
i dont think that trained troops should count tho for the calculations

Yoeh right. And then mr 7M units gets his link clicked 50 times and gets....14M extra units. Do you guys even think about these proposals before you place them? Heck, he could get his link clicked 50 times, then transfer all those units to another player, who has 21M then, and start clicking him. Whoop, instant 63M units. Repeat a few more times and the only thing left to do is reset.

or how about a % of your up that way it still keeps it fairly low

how about an extra 10 units a day each click only lasting a day
100 clicks 1000 units

Now that's more reasonable. Let's say 0.5% per click. At a maximum of 50 clicks a day, you could gain a UP bonus of 25%. So someone with 1000 UP would gain 5 units per click, up to 250 a day. Not earthshattering, but still substantial, and at least better than 50.
But I think it would put the big guys at an advantage. People with a UP of 4000 would be able to get massive amounts of units. Hmmm, how to make it so that the bigger you get, the slower it will progress? How about making it UP^(1/3), the third power root of your UP. Here are some figures of that:
UP level | Amount per click | max per day
100 | 4.6 | 230
250 | 6.3 | 315
500 | 7.9 | 395
1000 | 10 | 500
2000 | 12.6 | 630
4000 | 15.9 | 795
8000 | 20 | 1000 (anyone above this?)
That would keep the big guys from completely outgrowing the little guys, but still get a little more for investing in all that UP.
Heh, can you remember that we actually had to limit the recruiting back in the day? Because some people were abusing it to get way ahead of the field. It was deemed that recruiting should not be overpowered because it gives an advantage without having to do much for it. But if it is changed according to this scheme, I can live with it. Plus, it will make recruitment become a bit more effective again, cause right now I see no reason to use it except for the early days of a new quantum wave.

Good idea.
yeah - I remember the old days when you could virtually receive unlimited clicks - and it was being abused - back then when someone got 1000 units per day, they were obviously cheating! lol!

Yeah I remember that as well. This plan would almost make it worth it to click the link again. However when dealing in millions of units, as alot of people are, there is not much point to put forth that kind of effort for a thousand or less units. It is a well thought out plan, and no doubt a number of people would use it. However beyond the new players, I don't think that the recruitment link will ever be used like it was when we all started.
To answer your question, yes there are people with over 8k UP.

See, that would actually be good. If the guys with millions of units don't want to put in the effort, then it will give the little guys some more speed catching up.
PS - Ascension cost must be a killer with 8k UP.

which is exactly what i was getting at
yes, ascension costs are high, but if you have millions of units anyways...

Perhaps you could change the unique link clicks to increase unit production by 1 instead.
Yes, I know that would make it possible to increase your unit production by 50/day, but the bigger players can already do that(and much more), and with ascension it might not be used much by the stronger players since that would make it more costly to ascend.

Hmmm, no I don't like that, because the higher UP, the more the levels cost if you have to pay for them. So in that setup the benefits would continue to grow bigger as your UP increases. In the setup I proposed this is still true but it does slow down and the relative benefit gets smaller, from a 230% increase at UP 100 to 50% at 1000, and 12.5% at 8000.

This could work! even if it was at 4% of your unit production
at 1000 u/p 40*50 = 200 UU's

Either your maths suck or mine do. And I'm fairly sure it's not mine. 50 times 4% would be 200% of your UP, or 2000 UU's. And as I explained, that's a little steep especially for the higher UP's. That's why I proposed a root function to make it climb slower the higher it gets.

that 40 was 4% of the 1000u/p
