Just a thought on the option to reduce the size of a given planet. With a cost in reduction, as well as reduction in other related cost.

Has been asked for, and I think it should exist as well.
Was also asked for a way to attack planet sizes, or destroy planets.

you'd need to pay a price, like losing planet def. and a certain percentage of the attribute or something
Another exploit is that you can buy 10k def for a normal sized planet for 400B, upgrade its size, then sell the same 10K for 500B. I could see people doing this alot if planets could be downsized.
To stop this, make the planet reduction cost at least 100B or drop the def resale.

Very good catch for a new guy?
You do have a point. Personally I think you should be able to attack a planets size and reduce it, but to pay to reduce it i'd say no less then 1/2 the price it took to increase it, if not full price.

And how would you stargate brainiacs reduce the size of a planet without causing an implosion?

a whole lotta C-4? counter the implosion with an explosion...
to put it scientificly:
a explosion directed into the earths core whilst funneling molten rock and magma through a active gate inside the planet...
blowing the inner core of the planet, will in turn melt miles of rock around the outer core of the planet with immense heat. the build up of heat under the crust will make huge amounts of pressure forcing the molten rock through the gate and will get a good % through before the gate inevitably melts.
at this point the pressure will build up so much that the crust of the planet will break in the nearest spot to the core - miles under the ocean. water will gush in, cooling the inner planet as it does.
a portion of the planet will collapse in (surly destroying some production facilitys along with the collapse) and thus - reducing the size of the planet!

it is a good idea but surely if u did it( reduced the planet size) it should cost like double of what the size you payed for like say you bought an 100bill upgrade it should cost 200bill to down growd it. How does it sound?

Well the entire "Increasing size" to me is so stupid of an idea. I mean can we all pitch in a few bucks and make Mother Earth a bit bigger? NO.
When it came out, I always took it as it was a way to increase the size and functionality of the planets infrastructure. Not actually increasing the physical size.
Thats why I always thought and agreed with the idea of attacking it infrastructure to do enough damage to reduce it. The cost to "fix" the damage was having to upgrade it again..
Still want to see planet destroyers in some form. If they are constantly made sooner or later everyone will have 10. And with all those "planet making" Dead accounts out there its happening fast.

Mothership and fleets should have option to attack a planets infrastructure then, instead of trying to "capture" the planet they attempt to cripple it..
