EDITED TO INCLUDE A POLL

Should you be massed for farming someone who is in a war, especially if you don't come to the forums?

+++++++++++++

Reading a lot about vultures in the gal col..

I'm looking to find out who first started using the term vultures... One thing if I could get rid of in 2009 is Vultures.. I mean common, no defence, lots of naq, and makes 10-30 bil a turn, who wouldn't farm them..

In most instances all you have to do is send a message saying hey look i'm in a war, I've been massed please don't farm me etc and most people will stop farming... It's just the muppets that keep farming.

I'm just curious who started it..

i dont get - when at war im happy for others to farm me - i send them a message saying im at war and they can farm me as much as they want nd that i will inform them when it is over and i build a def and at that time i expect them to stop.

I would prefer them to have it over the people i am fighting.

N00bs who cant play the game, cant take a little naq being stolen from them, and are generally, Whiney little pansie's who probally get beaten up for not doing the dishes. Thats who coined the phrase "Vulture".

 according to L.S' logic, im a "muppet"

if you got no def, expect to be farmed... not like the naq will be there if a muppet like me dont take it.

You farm me while in war with a piss poor strike because my defense was massed down, I'll mass you if it's more then three times in a short period of time. Then again, I'll mass anyone who hits me more then three times in a short period of time..war or not.

I dislike when people take advantage of you in war, those people deserve a mass. A random farmer that finds a low defense and goes "Oooh! Sweet! Nice hit!" and takes it? That is fine by me.

If you're in a war and someone takes advantage of your situation so what, it's part of the damn game.
It's a tactic that people use. Deal with them how you see fit. The whole "vulture" concept is a load of crap.

If they hit you in war and you want to hit them back then do it and stop **Filtered** crying vulture!

if people farm us in Nemesis, we have just taken to massing them these days...using whatever excuse in conjunction with farming we can coin at the time. Even if they hit us only once...if we can be arsed, we will mass you

I have never bought into Vultures, however if I am presented by an alliance or empire (not naming any names ) that like to hide behind that term I will gladly fight them on their own terms..as 9/10 they are the biggest hypocrites or morons going.

Very simple if you farm certain alliances whether they be at war or not you will be massed. On whether they should or not often whether the offending player gets massed or not is determined by size etc (in other words they should know better).

When I'm farming, I don't bother looking at the boards to see which alliances are at war. I will occasionally get a message from someone saying they are at war.

Their responses are usually polar opposites. Either they are very polite and ask me to stop (which I do), or they're complete **Filtered** about it. For those particular people, I keep farming them. :D
