Mothership Vulnerability?

Before I go flying off with rampant Mothership suggestions in the Suggestions forum I thought it would be a good idea to see what people are thinking first.
So, which of these best suits you?
1) Motherships are fine as they are.
Silence noob! Do not fix what is not broken! Or something more polite but along the same lines.
2) Mothership should be destroyed when all Shields are gone.
Makes Motherships far more vulnerable. Makes investing 450 million (minimum) in a Mothership much more risky.
3) Motherships have a repairable "HP" value that is attacked after Shields are gone. 0 HP = Mothership destroyed.
Makes Motherships more vulnerable, but gives players a bit of a chance to notice that their ship is about to blow up, and take appropriate action.
4) Motherships have a repairable and upgradeable "HP" value that is attacked after Shields are gone. 0 HP = Mothership destroyed.
Makes Motherships more vulnerable, but gives players a bit of a chance to notice that their ship is about to blow up. Also allows players to improve the structure of their Mothership so that it can take more of a pounding when the Shields are down.
Note to Mods. Used search and found something vaguely similar to this in the Game Suggestions forum, but it is old, not very specific and dead. Also, placed this in General because it's not so much a suggestion as an opinion poll. Please don't kill me.

I voted for the fourht option, just cuase it would be nice to be able to purchase 'Structure points'. Sheilds protect weps, weps protect structure.
I do think the MS needs to stay invunderable, but perhaps if it goes down to 0 Structure points you lose all weps, all shields and have to re-buy all of those slots.
Either that or just leave it the same;
It doesn't seem to need fixing execpt for the not adding to defense bug.
I think this needs to be moved. Opinion poll it may be, but...well...you saw how my post ended up.

I don't agree. I just bought my MS and getting 450M for it was quite hard and I had to sacrifice my defense for my MS. Noone, except guy with Billoins naq will buy MS any more, because the first person with an MS can come their way and destroy their completely new MS. They would be really pissed, believe me. I voted to stay as it is.

I think maybe there should be an option to take weapons off them, obviously at a lowered price, but when you ascend you dont just lose the MS but everything you put on it and that can be a heafty amount of naq for some people.

I voted for the first option. I just (and I mean, JUST) bought my mothership, and when I first bought it (after dolling out the 450mill for it) I could only afford to outfit it with 4 weapons. If somebody had come along and KILLED MY MOTHERSHIP after I just got it. I'd have cried. Then sabbed them to peices. So.
I think that after a motherships weapons are gone, the defence should be hit (like it does anyways) because, really, if I was in a mothership, and I had no sheilds and was a sitting duck, I'd hide behind the defences of my ground troops. Then, I'd say that IF the mothership defences are gone, AND the normal defences are gone, THEN a motherships HP can be hit.
That would make it more realistic.

i think it should have upgradeable hp values like #4, only it should be 'crippled' until you pay to repair it - not destroyed, but unable to fight.

I really don't care about my ship, why did they have to change the power when I ascended, f I wouldn't ascend I would have around 2 bil ship power :S

How would a mothership hide behind your defense troops, unless theyve been eating alot?

I think there should be quite a few races. Some of course COULD copy another advantages. That way in would be mroe chaostic and guys could have their favorite race.

opinions are given in the game suggestion forums anyway.
where SERIOUS scrutiny is laid out. and expliots and such are found, you want an opinion? we'll give it to you in game suggestions regardless of whither you want it or not.
the differance with game suggestion forums? if we like it, it immediately gets knocked up to "possible update" without having to be reposted.
THERE IS NO NEED FOR AN OPINION THREAD PERIOD.
