I was just talking with TokKo, and it came to me. I noticed an alliance that at one point had 400+ members back in the times of old no longer existed and I wanted to honor my very first alliance, the noob heaven, DarKsVenGeAncE for helping me get started in this game.

Props to whoever started that and gave every nooblet a chance to join, regardless of their army size with just a promise of being active.

What about your first alliance? How was it for you? Did it leave memorable moments or even make you a better player now then you would have been had you not joined? Tell me your thoughts!

lol i remember DV...... soon after i joined i was in an alliance with some friends from school (most have left the game) and about a week after we formed DV's then leader Wraith65 tried to intimidate us to join through massings and such........ tho back then i was under a mil army..... lol despite the fact that i refused i was massed or w/e and if memory serves im far bigger than he was (at the time).

first alliance (the one with school mates) was good, newbi filled but it was a learning experience nonetheless. didnt grow particularly well but like i said a learning experience.....

I mean, admin's update was only for below 5 members over 60 days...DV had like 196 players still in it!

well i think it was an exception cos it was majorly old..........

my first alliance was BTU, the training alliance for BAU.

for the most part i think BTU was a good place for me to start out. i had the help from the senior members of BAU, and the larger members or BTU. the real standout players that helped me had to be Taron (shintaro)(taught me how to raid, how to treat others and generally how to go about attacking. the biggest help i had starting out), and JOS (the BTU leader at the time, who also became my CO, and helped me learn more about alot of things shintaro had shown me.)

I became BTU's 2ic and mostly helped Faceoff (the current BTU leader) with the decisions he needed to make. this taught me about the general politics of the game.

in my first war (BTU vs. ArchAngels), Spas12 (Azarak) the BAU players taught me how to mass, and Spas12 and myself were the main massers on our side of the war. this war was probably my most memorable as i had the chance to mass some players much larger than myself and i thought it was a really big thing back then.

soon after the war, we had some internal conflicts in the alliance, which caused myself and a good portion of the alliance to leave.

but all in all, BTU is a great, friendly place for new players to learn about the game.

My first alliance was SAS Elite, which I created and lead.
But we were on several occasions a training target for CoP.

My first alliance here was FRA, great place, great people, great lessons one could learn.

[not talking about the end of my time there, I sucked there]

My first alliance was COAA - Coalition of Allied Aliens....or Coalition of Alien Allies....depending on who you asked

The spammiest, friendliest, funniest alliance ever. We used to have spies in almost every top alliance (myself in TO). We just used to chat about what was going on ingame, about anything and everything. Never used to be power hungry....just protected our members and had fun.

Miss those days. Best time I had in this game probably....
