I have tried to buy some defence mercs and it won't let me. I did buy offence mercs NP but I get this when I try to buy defence mercs

You do not have enough resources to pay, are attempting to get no product, or are over your merc limit.


Mercenaries
You can only have 105.00 percent (base of 25 plus 80 percent in upgrades) of your trained troops as mercenaries.
Beyond that, you do not have enough troops loyal to you to ensure compliance to your orders.
You now have:
280001 Trained Mercs.
350000 Trained Military Units.
You can have a maximum of 367,500 Trained Mercs.


I tried to buy 20,000 defence mercs at this time and had 50 bill in NAQ setting there.

this is what I had trained at the time

Home Guard 150,000
Super Guards 100,000
Defending Mercenaries 180,000

Mercs are paired up with SS of att or def, so the amount of def mercs you can buy is tied to

Super Guards 100,000

you cant count the

Home Guard 150,000

it is counting home base look at the totals I have 100,000 attack supers and 100,000 attack mercs it says i can buy 80,000 + more mercs

Merc Control Level 8

I was just looking and I already have more mercs than supers. I know in the lower merc levels you are right on that pairing up BUT I believe that it don't hold true as you get higher merc levels

I maxed out my def mercs

Super Guards 525,573
Defending Mercenaries 946,031


You have merc techs and doesnt ascention give you extra % to mercs?

yes that is correct and I tried training 20,000 more supers and you were right I was looking at it wrong. It was counting home guard as trained BUT I couldn't use that number for mercs. sorry
