Measuring your enemy

How do you measure your most extreme enemy? One way that I have used in the past is if someone is a major enemy I will attack them for less DMU then another player. So I was wanting to get a feel for how others measure the worth of their enemies. Also I was curious as to how little other ascended beings were willing to attack their current nemesis if they use a similar barometer that I do.
For example if someone was in the midst of a vendetta or war you would expect them to take out planets if they were vulnerable. But do you attack them every other turn just to annoy them and steal every bit of their DMU you can get your ascended hands upon?

I measure them by threats in main. If I get a threat in main, I will mostly
likely to to send peace. lol Other than that, if they don't say anything,
I'd farm them as much as I want.

I don't really have an enemies as the server is basicly dead.
I generally wait on my farmers till i see a moment of weakness, like 1 who untrained all their Assasins and put them to intell i assume to farm with, shortly after I took a few Bill planets off them at a cost of 30 planets.
Actually it made me sick to do it as its what has ruined the game and made it as pathetic as it is.
Other then that, most all of my farmers have adapted the "no income" units stratagy and have no income, they just farm what they need with massive strikes that are laid to waste until they rebuild their 2K AT and do it again.
There is less RP in ascended then in main. I havent had a single message other then a war setting in prolly 6 months.

Fearless is right it's what they can do to your main account, not ascended that counts. I don't really have any problems because I can hit dead accounts for 150Trillion+ and be happy with that. But every now and again there's one account with an income of 47trillion/turn that I go after. Scored 780t off it last week (which obviously means a few pirates out there were a bit lazy!).

I like ascended just people aren't active enough there lol
maybe cause there's no alliances
maybe the strength of a ascended account should effect more of that of the main account
maybe a bit unbalanced lol
it dose need work on to be made more active
an I'm not really an active farmer I just look for low ranked inactives

The reason so many are not active is that assasination make the server basicly pointless. 30 assasination missions kills 94% of BOTH your ATT and DEF. The assassin loses a fraction of what you lose, and with the "sniper" tactic like it is the server is even more pointless then main is now.

Decrease somehow assassin power and increase a bit covert operations power is what this server needs to be fixed...DEFINTELY NOT bringing back raiding or such crazy stuff I hear sometimes...
