I am somehow disappointed by this game.
There's no point in building a defence apparently, because people will keep hitting you for crazy low amounts during your sleeping, even if you have rank 1 def it's useless. And what about naq hits? Yes...being all the time trying to catch people who forgot to bank after logging in first time...
Yes, I thought beta version was bad, but thinking about it, beta was pretty nice. At least we were able to do something fun!
Seriously, are we forced to give up sleeping and other things just to keep our stats with those tiny weak weapons? That's what I'm thinking, sleeping 8h30 and bam it's already gone.
"It's beta version we are testing in live there won't be that much crazy low hits"...bah, it's live and it's even worse.
And yes I got my def back already, point isn't I can't get it back, it's just the fact we have to stay around ALL the time if we want to be good at it. Even Q isn't like that.

Yes I was here back in feb 2005.
Yes I was in quantum old skool wave and enjoyed it alot.

Well, taking from my experiences in Quantum...Everybody (even the best, most feared) players get hit at the start, so seeing as this is a new beginning i find it hard for anyone to complain.

The start is one of the most strategic parts of a game, and you dont have to stop sleeping, or keep ALL of your naq, because nobody else will either. You simply have to play with what you have better than everyone else

Well in quantum we have all the nice farms...yes it's unfair for those missing farm fest...but at least it's not hiting active people for crap amounts!

My only complaint is that the "add 48 hours ppt" dissapears if you dont take it before your 60 mins runs out.

A bit unfair if you ask me.

Yes. If there wasn't this problem this topic wouldn't exist as I would be on PPT as we speak building my stats.

Meh noone can escape that easily!

And my point is not to whine, it's the fact that I got "punished" to have done a natural thing, sleeping. It's somehow annoying as I can't do anything against sleeping. So it's unfair for people not being suffering from insomnia.

I need no sleep. Sleep it`s a weakness and weaknesses are something that define a mortal. Are you suggesting that Goa`ulds are mortals?

Hmmm there's a difference between roleplay and real life person. Everyone needs sleep, we are not machines.

Well i agree completely Jim. Only the issues for me are not the fact i got farmed for pathetic hits when i slept last night, although obviously i did, it's the fact the game isn't even close to being ready for Live launch yet gary rushed it into production.

People who tried to sign up at the start couldn't do so, there is no finished Market, no finished weapons research tech, no normal techs, we have been left using the crappy weapons with no idea when or if we can upgrade.

Quite frankly it's a very bad joke on us players, i thought the whole point in beta testing was to actually get a finished game for launch, not a botched half-assed game with several key features not even designed, let alone coded.

Fact is this is just another unprofessional rush-job, sorry Gary, but it's the truth.

The only thing I am annoyed with is the lack of role play.. lol. How many multi race alliances are there. SERIOUSLY!
